THE KBK WAY

​When you contact KBK either by phone or email, we will assess the situation to determine whether an immediate or next day attendance is required. We will then allocate the correct engineer to address your issue, and will notify you of an estimated time of arrival. After our engineer attends, our maintenance controllers will send you a detailed report, including any necessary photographs.  If further works are required, you will receive a detailed repair estimate. Upon your agreement, we’ll schedule the work and keep you updated on all tasks.

Issue

Balcony decking was rotten and failing in multiple areas.

Solution

Reinforced sub base with new packers to ensure a level base.

Removed all decking boards and supplied and fit new boards.

Issue

Inspected roof and found multiple areas of failure to the existing membrane allowing water ingress.

Solution

Cleared and cleaned roof in preparation for applying liquid plastic primer.

Covered with reinforcement matting and two coats of Owl 20 liquid plastic to create a waterproof membrane.

Issue

Bike store was not secure and resident bikes were being stolen. Client wanted to have a permanent solution so requested a wall to be built to separate the bike store form the car park.

Solution

New block wall built and painted to match existing car park.

Entrance staircase was failing and unsafe.

Solution

Removed stair nosings and applied new paving slabs to form a new stable base.
